Claire Larson decided early in life that the key to happiness was money. Experience had taught her that not being rich led to misery. The handsome and rich Brent Cooper enters her life and promises her all she wants, but at what price? Is she willing to live in fear and without self-respect in order to have the mansion and drive the luxury car?
When she meets Zeke Dayton she couldn’t be at a lower point in her life. Zeke is gorgeous and sexy but a mechanic with a struggling auto repair business, definitely not with whom she’d envisioned herself.
Claire has to make the biggest choice of her life between having everything and having it all.

I give this a solid 5 stars. I will admit that when I first started reading this it was a 3 just because I personally was having a hard time getting into it because of the situation that Claire was in. Honestly, I had trouble reading it because real life situations that AJ clearly got defined and because it brought up my own past. However like Claire I lived through it, I got out and I survived. I was proud of Claire for having the courage to walk away. She really only new one person she could go to for help. Does she fear that she will be turned away? No. She knows she will help Claire but she does not expect the help in all of the capacity that she is given. Because of their support Claire is able to stand up against her ex and tell him to leave her alone.
I leave with these parting words, Way to go Claire! Way to go Zeke!
